[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]When ArtCatto Portugal opened it’s doors, Kelly and I had no idea that it would become a success in such a short space of time. It has been so exciting seeing the business grow. This year we hosted a 3 day graffiti event with the Conrad Algarve and we are planning an exciting Chinese cultural event there later this summer. We are continually expanding and are now working with large hotel groups such as the Hilton group and JJW Hotels.

Our latest projects include a new Hilton Hotel in Cabo Verde and the complete refurbishment of the Dona Filipa Hotel in Vale do Lobo. We are so privileged to be in one of the most beautiful old buildings in Loulé with a roof terrace overlooking the old town and beyond. It is there, after the opening of our summer exhibition, that we hold the Studio 43 party and Pecha Kucha. Where 10 respected people in their own fields choose 20 images and then have 20 seconds to speak on each image. These images are projected onto a huge wall and the whole event is quite enthralling for the speaker and the 300 spectators. ArtCatto is proud to represent some top international artists.

At this summers exhibition there are six of the best. Philip Jackson CVO DL MA FRBS FRSA the foremost British sculptor who has produced most of the monumental commissions in England. From the Queen Mother in the Mall to the huge Bomber Command in Green Park to Bobby Moore outside Wembley Stadium. Philip’s own personal work is just quite breathtaking from the small works to the large outside pieces. We welcome Mr He, one of the finest Chinese artists working today who is a master of calligraphy. Alain Bertrand who has a following like no other and who has been a friend of the gallery for many years. Vicente Romero, we sold every piece of his beautifully crafted work in his last exhibition with us and finally Gwyn Jones whose paintings grab the moment with her lively brush strokes and technical We hope you enjoy the evening and come back often to see a host of other exciting artists that we represent. Also, you may wish to join us again quite soon as we are holding a Chinese Cultural Festival at the Conrad Algarve on the 26th August.

Art, music, dance, lions, food and fireworks! See you there.
