Paulo Neves was born in the north of Portugal in 1959. However, just until the 90s that his artistic maturity was reveal and today Paulo is an international renowned sculptor. His work is represented in the United States, France, Spain, Brazil, Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, Australia, Morocco and Germany.
Although attended the School of Fine Arts in Porto, his work can be rooted in the modern European tradition.

The morphological expression of his pieces recalls to the expressionism and the baroque, although its language it’s totally unique, built on the fringes of the movement and aesthetic trends of his time.

From very young, Paulo travel to know the world by his own hands. He met artists, visited museums, and discovered other cultures, experience that clearly was essential to build his unique artistic language.
