Luc Lavenseau was born in Bordeaux. Since he was young he had the ability to paint freely using diverse techniques such as watercolour, chalk and pastel.
After attending the famous Academy of Arts in Bordeaux, he totally dedicated himself to oil painting.
Luc has always been fascinated by the impressionists. Especially Monet who’s one of his greatest talents was his use of light. Luc’s continued curiosity made him more interested and aware of contemporary art. Particularly the works of Picasso and Andy Warhol who are important artists of inspiration.
Luc Lavenseau is regularly selected to participate in art fairs as in particular “Salon d’Automne” in Paris and “Art Actuel France-Japon” at the National Art Center in Tokyo.
Luc is a member of the “sociétaire” of Salon d’Automne (Paris) and of ADAGP (société des Auteurs Dans les Arts Graphiques et Plastiques).
His artworks can be found in private collections throughout France, England, Germany, the United States and Australia.
