Artcatto, the leading contemporary gallery in the Algarve have been working in partnership with the Conrad Algarve on a series of successful events. The most recent an Urban art show, entitled ‘Off the Wall’, whereby selected graffiti artists created murals inside and outside the hotel and even spray painted a Mini Cooper (BMW were one of the main sponsors).
Our plan is to launch a Chinese Cultural Festival on the 26th August. Following on from the festival a commercial workshop will be held in September which will include dinner and a guided tour of the art exhibition.
We plan to stage a Chinese Cultural Festival of today, a current look at and celebration of the glorious cultural and artistic expression that stems from China. This special event will be memorable for the whole family and will include artwork, traditional dance, music, the dance of lions, a display of Chinese martial arts, Chinese cuisine and beverages and as a grande finale, a spectacular firework display.
Nobody can hold a candle to Chinese creative endeavour and here at Artcatto we are delighted to have selected the highest quality of artists to present at the Conrad Algarve for this Cultural Festival.
